Our friendly and professional team.
Beautiful flowers and creative florists are at this charming little shop located in Little Italy, on College St. Pink Twig specializes in creative floral arrangements (for all occasions and weddings), gift baskets and gifts for the home. The shop is set up like a boutique where you can find stylish flower pots, plants and a great assortment of vases. All of the floral designs are fresh and modern -- perfect for an urban clientele.
Amy Saleh (left in photo) graduated from Algonquin College in Ottawa from Television Broadcasting and then moved to Toronto in 2001. She landed a job with TSN’s Off the Record as a Chase Producer and then moved onto CTV’s Canada AM and Newsnet and worked as a Story Producer. In the fall of 2005 she freelanced at a local flower shop with Tanya and fell in love with flowers. She has never looked back.
Tanya List (right in photo) caught the flower bug white growing up in Muskoka in a local garden center. She furthered her floral studies at Humber College and received her diploma in floral design. She has worked in various flower shops all over the country including Halifax, Muskoka and Toronto. Not only does she have a love of flowers but she designs hand bags and paintings that you can purchase in the store.
Owners Amy Saleh and Tanya List met in Ottawa and became best friends in Toronto. Tanya introduced Amy to flowers in 2005 by asking her to help out in a local flower shop on a crazy weekend, after that weekend they decided to open their shop and Pink Twig was born. They are young and creative, with designs that follow suit. Their trendy, contemporary arrangements have been featured in House & Home, Style at Home, Weddingbells and Wedluxe. Despite the pair’s success, arrangements continue to be budget friendly and there is no minimum order required, so if a single rose is what you want, a single rose is what you’ll get.
